Full Product Sprint: idea to a testable prototype in about a day
The Full Product Sprint is AppSprint's longest guided session: 22 guided steps, about one day, plus time for testers to reply. A team exploring a new product frames the goal and the problem, maps the customer journey, sketches privately, builds working prototypes with AI, reviews them anonymously, refines the chosen one together, and then collects feedback from testers through a public form.
Who it is for
This template is for a team exploring a new product from the problem through to testing. It fits when people do not yet agree on the goal, the customer or the moment that matters most.
The step timers add up to a little over five hours, which AppSprint treats as an estimate. The agenda is fixed.
What the team does, in order
Frame the goal and the problem
Name the Project, Two-Year Goal, Measures of Success and Problem to Solve. Notes stay hidden until the host shows them, shuffled and without names. See anonymous ideas and voting.
Collect opportunities
Each person writes up to 10 "How might we" notes. The AI groups them into themes, and each person casts 1 theme vote and 8 note votes. The host can invite an expert guest into the call.
Describe the customer and map the journey
Three customer steps lead into a shared journey map of notes and arrows. The decision-maker picks the customer, the key moment and the main risk.
Gather examples, then sketch in private
Each person presents up to 6 links or images. Private Notes, Rough Ideas and Eight Quick Ideas (eight one-minute rounds) follow. They are stored only in your browser and never shared.
Build a prototype each (45 minutes)
Each person describes an idea to the AI builder and gets a working prototype back.
Review and choose
Anonymous dots on each prototype, then a guided discussion of 3 minutes per prototype with the builder speaking last. After a private vote, the decision-maker keeps 1 to 3. See Prototype Review.
Refine Together (45 minutes)
Teammates send anonymous suggestions while the decision-maker prompts the AI on the shared prototype. See Refine Together.
Choose your next step
The host can generate the build brief (PRD) and the handoff package, or the team can continue to testing.

What the team leaves with
- A refined working prototype, downloadable as a single HTML file
- Confirmed decisions, including the customer, key moment and main risk
- A Markdown build brief (PRD) and a handoff package ZIP
- Tester responses and action items that export as CSV
- A session summary link for people who were not in the room
When to pick a different template
If the team already knows the general opportunity, the Focused Product Sprint drops the goal, measures, "How might we" and journey-map steps and takes about half a day. For one defined problem and an hour, use the One-Hour Sprint. If the team already knows what to build, use Team Vibe Coding.
The tester dashboard states that its results do not establish product-market fit. Treat feedback as a signal, not proof.
